Hawthorn / Huath is part of the Ogham Tree Alphabet series. I began with favorite symbolic forms — the double vesica piscis, the circle, and the arch — each a portal to a realm of meaning. Layered among them are graceful branches of the hawthorn, known in the ancient Irish tree alphabet as Huath. The palette of reds, pinks, and oranges recalls the berries, harmonizing protection and beauty.
