Bayshore II There is a small landscape in the center of this painting, with a patchwork of collage around in larger squares. I always loved the bay of Green Bay because we used to rent a cottage on Point Comfort during the summer. The nearby roads were narrow and covered with tar. My bare feet would sink into the sun-softened tar as I walked to our neighbors’ cottages. The bay itself had a sandy shore there, and my family and I would swim and frolic in the waves.
