Green Bay Series
Horizons, storms, and shifting waters of memory.
This series is rooted in Green Bay, Wisconsin, where I grew up. It carries the memory of my ancestors who came from Ireland and France to the northern forests, and of my grandparents who made their home by the bay. Through abstraction, I evoke horizons, storms, and shifting waters of the Great Lakes — the restless spirit of a place woven into heritage and memory.

Geometries of Perception Series
Circles and grids as doorways to other realities.
This series grew out of the ancient conundrum of “squaring the circle,” an image of spiritual seeking. Each painting is built on grids containing circles with collaged, painted, and drawn elements. In Dancer I and II, I emphasized movement; in Doors of Perception, I explored how each person is unique, with their own viewpoint, yet equally deserving of respect. Each figure becomes a kind of doorway to another reality.
